What it is

What is the Railway Track Intrusion Dataset?

The Xentim Railway Track Intrusion Dataset is a synthetic dataset for training detectors of dangerous situations on railway and metro platforms. It holds 13,704 sequences and 3.10 million labelled frames across 13 event classes, including falls and pushes onto the track, with a platform safety zone label on each frame.

The events you cannot film.

Falls and pushes onto the track, people on the track and retrieving objects, seen from platform cameras.

Know where the person is.

Each frame says platform safe, beyond line, edge or track, so your alarm can depend on the zone.

Quiet platforms stay quiet.

Everyday platform behaviour is included as negatives, so operators see fewer unwanted alarms.

FAQ

Questions about this dataset

Anything else? contact@xentim.com

Does it cover metro platforms?

Yes. It is built for railway and metro platforms.

What is track intrusion detection?

Track intrusion detection finds a person on or near the rails from camera footage, so an operator or a system can react.

Which events does it cover?

Falls and pushes onto the track, people on the track, crossing the track, climbing down, retrieving objects, standing at the edge and stumbling near it.

Does it include video?

No. The dataset holds skeleton data, with no RGB images or video.

Can I test it before buying?

Yes. Each dataset has a free sample and a datasheet, so you can check the format and labels on your own model first.

How do I order?

Choose a licence and send us your order. We reply with an order form and invoice, you pay by bank transfer, SEPA or card, and we send a secure download link within 3 business days of payment.

What if the data does not match the datasheet?

Tell us within 30 days of delivery. We correct the dataset or, if we cannot, refund the fee against deletion of all copies.

Test it on your model first.

The sample is free. If the data does not match its datasheet, you have 30 days to tell us.
